How MesmerDesign features products in its gift guides, and how we earn.
Our promise on recommendations
MesmerDesign is the maker of many of the products featured in these guides. When we recommend one of our own items, it’s a product we design and make to order in our own Etsy shop — we earn no third-party commission on those links, because you’re buying directly from us.
Some guides also point to products we don’t make — the frame for a print, the craft supplies that go with a printable, the book that pairs with a gift. Those are usually Amazon links, and they work differently.

This never changes what we recommend. We only link to things we’d suggest to a friend, and we say plainly when a cheaper or better option exists elsewhere. Prices and availability on Amazon change constantly — the price on Amazon at the time of purchase is the one that applies.
About the prices we show
Our guides show approximate US prices in US dollars. Our own products are made in the EU, where listed prices include 20% VAT; most of our buyers are in the US and pay no VAT, so the price you see at checkout is typically lower. Prices also vary by size, options, and currency. We show a rounded “under $X” guide price — Etsy always shows your exact total at checkout, so check the listing before ordering.
We aim to give honest, useful guidance — including pointing you to the most affordable option when that’s the right call. If something here isn’t helpful, tell us.
